Excerpt: The United States' health care system currently defers
the responsibility of health insurance provision to employers. The
availability of health coverage, therefore, becomes an important
employment consideration for both employers and their employees.
Using statistical methods to analyze twelve years of data from the
Current Population Survey, this research investigates the effect of
health insurance on the probabilities of individuals experiencing
voluntary or involuntary turnover.
